The surface treatment process of aluminium tableware

The surface treatment processes of aluminium tableware mainly include the following types:

Sandblasting treatment: It utilizes the impact of high-speed sand flow to clean and roughen the surface of metals. Sandblasting treatment can enable the surface of aluminum parts to achieve a certain degree of cleanliness and different roughness, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the surface, enhancing fatigue resistance, increasing the adhesion and durability of the coating, and also facilitating the leveling and decoration of the paint.

Anodic oxidation: Aluminum parts are placed in an electrolyte solution as the anode, and through electrolysis, an oxide film is formed on the surface of the aluminum parts. Anodizing can not only solve problems such as the surface hardness and wear resistance of aluminum, but also extend the service life of aluminum parts and enhance their aesthetic appeal. The oxide film can be colored to make aluminum tableware present different colors and meet diverse decorative needs.

Brushing process: By repeatedly scraping out lines with sandpaper, the surface of the aluminum part presents a fine, hair-like luster. The wire drawing process can be classified into straight wire drawing, random wire drawing, spiral wire drawing and threaded wire drawing, etc. Different wire drawing methods can be selected according to decorative needs, making aluminum tableware both fashionable and technological.

Electroplating process: A layer of metal protective layer is added to the surface of aluminum to enhance wear resistance, electrical conductivity and decorative properties. Aluminum parts after electroplating can have the surface effects of various metals such as stainless steel, gold and silver, improving the appearance quality of aluminum tableware.

Spraying process: It makes the surface of aluminum materials present different textures and colors. The spraying process includes rubber paint, conductive paint, UV oil, etc. Each type of coating can bring different properties and visual effects to aluminum materials, enriching the decorative effect of aluminum tableware.

Polishing treatment: By means of mechanical, chemical or electrochemical methods, the surface roughness of the workpiece is reduced to obtain a bright and smooth surface. Polishing processes mainly include mechanical polishing, chemical polishing and electrolytic polishing. After mechanical polishing combined with electrolytic polishing, aluminum parts can approach the mirror-like effect of stainless steel, enhancing the luster of aluminum tableware.
