The imitation porcelain feel of melamine tableware is formed

The imitation porcelain texture of melamine tableware is mainly formed due to its special raw materials and manufacturing process:

Raw material characteristics: The main raw material of melamine tableware is high-purity melamine resin, also known as melamine-formaldehyde resin, which is a high-molecular compound formed by the thermal curing of melamine and formaldehyde at high temperatures. The cured melamine-formaldehyde resin is relatively stable below 120℃, neither dissolving nor melting, and has hardness and luster similar to that of ceramics.

Manufacturing process

Plain surface molding: After weighing the melamine powder raw materials, they are first placed in a heating wave high-temperature machine for uniform heating. Then, the baked raw materials are placed on the mold, and the plain surface button is pressed. Through initial pressure, exhaust, secondary pressure, and the molding is completed. During this process, the raw materials are solidified and formed under high temperature and high pressure, creating an appearance and texture similar to that of ceramics.

Decal application process: The decal paper is treated with melamine in advance. After being coated with melamine powder, the decal paper is cut out respectively according to the patterns to be applied and set aside. Follow the plain noodle procedure to open the mold without taking the product. Stick decorative paper on the corresponding position of the tableware and sprinkle gold powder to make the product shiny. Close the mold and continue heating. Open the mold and take the product. This process can enhance the aesthetic appeal of tableware and make its texture closer to that of ceramics.

Grinding and polishing: The produced products are subjected to the process of removing rough edges and grinding and polishing the corners, making the products look more aesthetically pleasing, with smoother edges, and further enhancing their porcelain-like texture.
